Q. Can I make changes in the product manufactured by you or outsource the manufacture of an already existing product to you?
A. We would be happy to modify our existing products, develop a new product or adopt your specifications for an already existing product. Our superior development expertise and optimized manufacturing processes have proved invaluable for the introduction of new products and for adding value to an existing product.
Q. How do I ensure the security of the formulation for my product?
A. Any product manufactured by us for a brand shall not be replicated in any way. This is regardless of whether the formulation is ours or not. We are very aware of our responsibility towards the brands we manufacture for.
Q. Can I request for samples before I place my order?
A. We insist on this to ensure that the order meets customer expectations.
Q. How do I book the production schedule?
A. If you have approved the samples and wish to place an order you must first book our production schedule. This requires you to sign a contract with Ivory Soap Works Ltd. for a fixed tenure for a consistent monthly order. The quantity ordered per month may fluctuate by 5% from the average ordered quantity but must always be above the minimum order quantity that was agreed upon.
Q. What is the minimum order quantity?
A. Depending on the product ordered and the location it has to be delivered to we will determine the minimum order quantity per month for the tenure of the contract signed with us. This will be determined in consensus with you and ensures optimum capacity utilization allowing us to give your product the required production priority.
Q. Can I place a one-time order?
A. Depending on the unused capacity at that time and the development effort i.e. whether you have ordered an existing product or require modifications to an existing product or would like us to manufacture as per your specifications, we will let you know if it is possible. Our policy is to welcome as much diverse experience as is possible.
Q. What is the delivery time of an order?
A. After you have approved the samples, depending on the quantity of your order, we would initially require some lead-time to execute the order. It takes one month for the execution of an average sized order. The following table would give the approximate freight time from Mumbai (Bombay) India to the port nearest to your location. This is not inclusive of the time taken for the onward road journey.

Q. What are the terms of Payment?
A. We would accept all of the following methods of payment:
- Cash in Advance via telex transfer
- Irrevocable Letter of Credit - Sight or Time (30 days)
Q. How reliable is the order delivery?
A. To ensure that the quality and quantity specified is received we would be happy to certify both from the appropriate authorities and forward these certificates as a part of the documentation.
